Explanation from Steve Snapp on allowing the scUM fight song to be sung on Saturday

Snapp's response should have been something like "Are you kidding me? No, you may not air this in or around the stadium, and if you do this from any other location on campus, I will make sure that ESPN Gameday never sets foot on our campus again!"

If they need to sing the Michigan fight song that day, have Game Day go to Ann Arbor. If they wanted to stay in Columbus, wait a week to sing the fight song. TERRIBLE taste on ESPN's part.

The thing to admire about Michigan is that they never would have allowed this to take place in the Big House. Imagine their response if Herbstriet and Nick Simpson would have asked to sing the OSU fight song in Michigan Stadium. "When Hell Freezes Over" would have been the response.

Steve Snapp is busy trying to repair the damage that espin has done to Ohio State so he says "Yeah, go ahead and sing the fight song of our biggest rival in our house for the biggest game of the season." WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT???? Obviously espin has NO interest in trying to mend ties for their attack on Ohio State. In fact, they go out of their way to make Ohio State look foolish by pulling this NATIONALLY TELEVISED stunt.

No excuse at all. Gene Smith should rip Snapp's ass up one side and down the other for this. Think what Bo Schembechler would do if that occured in Michigan.

I think this is a concrete example of what the lack of a Y chromosone at the top gets us. Its time for someone with a set of balls to just drill ESPN right bewteen the eyes, instead we continue to let them confuse kindness for weakness.

one thing that really chaps me about this is Nick bending over and taking it, he is an OHIO kid! what a complete scum bag. that was by far the most classless thing espin has ever done.

He is a trader. He likes USC.

I respect Snapp for at least trying to tell them no, but there was really nothing he could do. Also it was probably a little safer having them up there than somewhere that people could of started chucking shit at them.
