Exorcising the bad Karma thread

Trust me, OSU will score more than 4 points. Coach Miles has already announced that our cheerleaders will be playing the entire second half. If OSU plays up to their fullest potential, the Buckeyes should be able to put together at least two solid drives against them, maybe even three :)
MAYBE!

Here's why...

OSU and OU seem to have similar destinies wrt JT and Bob Stoops.

Jim Tressel Bob Stoops
First year 2001 1999
First year Record 7-5 (bowl loss) 7-5 (bowl loss)
2nd year record 14-0 (NC) 13-0 (NC)
3rd year record 11-2 (bowl win) 11-2 (bowl win)
4th year record 8-4 (bowl win) 12-2 (bowl win)
5th year record 11-2 (bowl win) 12-2 (NC blowout, CCG loss)
6th year record 12-1 (NC blowout) 12-1 (NC blowout)

So save for the 8-4 year, Jim tressel has pretty much replicated Bob Stoops record. So we are doomed.

If were lucky they'll spare us and will agree to our terms to simply kneel the ball in front of them.

Then we'll only have about - 125 yards for the game instead of the predetermined amount that LSU's stellar defense is capable of.

Since LSU is more talented at 90% of the positions I think we easily lose by 45. Beanie Wells is probably going to have -85 yards rushing, Boeckman can't run to save his life. LSU's receivers and defensive line are going to flat out dominate this game and James Laurinaitis is too small to tackle anyone on the LSU offense. If we get lucky we will be awarded the opportunity in the fourth quarter to kick an extra point only, giving us the 72-1 final score I think we'll see.

Does it still exorcise the Karmic demons if more than half of the things I posted were rehashed from an LSU board? If not I'll change them. :wink2:

Guys let's just face it, LSU's speed is going to blow tOSU's minds.

The Big Ten cannot keep up with the SEC, and hopefully all of LSU's players will wear 40 pound ankle weights to allow tOSU's players to keep up with them. Just slightly though.

In a year where Michigan wins a bowl game anything is possible. Tomorrow I intend to sacrfice three live chickens, wear a garlic necklace, turn my OSU boxers inside out, and kneel before the patron saint of the Buckeye tree five times while facing north toward Ohio stadium.

Could you not do that third thing there? Thanks.

Sincerely,

The Mangagment

Kansas City Star: Dream College Football Playoff: USC beats Ohio State 21-18 for the title

Dream College Football Playoff: USC beats Ohio State 21-18 for the title

By PETE GRATHOFF

The Kansas City Star

NEW ORLEANS | Winning ugly suits Southern California just fine.
The Trojans punted 10 times, didn?t score in the second half and still came away with a 21-18 victory over Ohio State in overtime of the Sugar Bowl in the championship game of The Star?s simulated playoff.

?I had a long conversation with Chiefs coach Herm Edwards before the game,? USC coach Pete Carroll said in an imaginary postgame news conference, ?and I saw the wisdom in playing it safe once we had the big lead.?

The Trojans led 15-3 at halftime, but in the second half they had seven three-and-outs, lost the ball on downs once, gained just 59 yards and had two first downs.

cont'd...

Believe it or not... I actually believed this part. I had hoped that me posting this would turn the tide. Didn't happen.
