Ex-LSU QB Ryan Perrilloux (official thread)

From what I heard, he got into an argument of some kind of with the wait staff at the resteraunt.. don't know if this true, but what I was told.

What I'm hearing, is that someone (don't know if it was wait staff or another customer) tossed a racial slur his way.
There were no punches, or shoving match, or anything like that, but it did cause a scene in a crowded restaurant.

No, actually, I hear that he pulled a gun and shot four people.

In a related story, Les Miles has notified that press that, after discussions with local police, no charges will be filed.

"I'm letting Ryan Perilloux know that my patience has been exhausted. We have discussed this unspecified rules violation and he understands why we consider his behavior to be over the line.

Regrettably, Ryan must now pay the price, so that he can learn that irresponsible behavior has consequences. Therefore, it behooves me to inform Tiger fans, with considerable regret, that Ryan has been ejected from the team. He will be held out of not one, but two practices, and will miss the first play of the 2008 football season for this unspecified rules violation.

We look forward to welcoming Ryan back next Tuesday, by which time he will have learned his lesson. It's not easy for me to practice this "tough love" approach, but we're here first and foremost to instill values and develop young people, not win games."

Private sources within the team, who would not be quoted, confirm that Miles could not control his anger when he learned that Perrilloux broke rules requiring all shooters to use a silencer in crowded public places and to wear a ski mask.

I heard that he asked for drinks after a place had already had last call and then went ape shit when he was refused service.

But then, I discounted that. I mean, where in Louisiana do they have last call? <snort>

A further update from the office of Les Miles, coach of the LSU Tigers:

"Irresponsible internet reporting suggests that an unidentified player is responsible for an incident in which an unspecified number of people allegedly were shot.

Coach Miles would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that increased lead in the body can come from many sources. Paint chips are one such well-documented source. Coach joins concerned citizens everywhere in seeking increased federal regulation of lead-based products and the removal of these products from places frequented by young people."

Mile today announced that Perrilloux will be reinstated to the team after participating in a fund raiser for "Lead Awareness Week". Perrilloux will be signing autographs.

(One item only, $25.00 per item, with 10% of the proceeds going to Lead Awareness. Note: a set of breasts is considered as one item.)

We, not that there really is a we for which I would be speaking publicly, find such allegations to be most enlightening and truthful. The consumption of paint chips is no laughing matter. It is a dangerous and addictive habit, from which all people should refrain. In the interest of public health and safety, please bring any items coated with or containing lead-based paint chips to the designated location (PM BKB for details).

Not that such a location truly exists. Nor would there be anyone there, even if it did, which it doesn't. But bring your lead-based paint there anyways. Do it now.

RP ain't gonna practice at all this spring. Not 100% of the reason just yet. Miles is apparently gonna have a press conference this evening sometime.

Rumor mill is in full swing, ranging from:

  • not finfished his requirements to rejoin team
  • family health issues
  • an incident at a chinese restaurant
So who knows what is real and what ain't.
not to long ago i had an incident at a chinese buffet. i think they had to fumigate the restroom after i left...

Daily Reveille

Junior QB allegedly involved in incident
Erik Vollenweider
Issue date: 4/2/08

LSU junior quarterback Ryan Perrilloux allegedly caused a scene at a local restaurant Friday night, a few days before he was expected to rejoin the team Monday for spring practice.

A server at Kona Grill in Perkins Rowe told The Daily Reveille late Tuesday night that Perrilloux arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes after it closed Friday.

Perrilloux entered the bar and attempted to order drinks. After he was denied service, Perrilloux began to curse and use racial slurs, the server said.

A Kona Grill manager approached Perrilloux, who then cursed the manager. The server said Perrilloux was asked to leave. And the police were called to the restaurant, but Perrilloux had left by the time any officers arrived.

The server said LSU coach Les Miles called the restaurant Saturday to apologize for Perrilloux.

Cont'd ...
