Buckeyes commits, prospects enjoy behind-scenes look at program
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in sports administration.
If he ever leaves the game of college football, the national championship coach can always go into marketing.
The Ohio State brand is already a national product, but when Meyer allowed ESPN to go inside the program, the initial response was incredible.
This week, ESPN All-Access: Ohio State Training Days appears on ESPNU at 5 p.m. ET.
With extensive behind-the-scenes access to on- and off-field action, team meetings and campus facilities, ESPN cameras will introduce players and coaches as they complete grueling preseason training across six days. Viewers will see four 30-minute specials on ESPNU (Aug. 14-17), a five-part series across College Football Live Presented by Dick's Sporting Goods and SportsCenter (Aug. 19-24) and a one-hour special on ESPN (Aug. 22).
Where it's hitting home is in the recruiting world. Whether it was a commit or a possible recruit, those who didn't see the first show on ESPNU had it recorded or had a friend logging the premiere and couldn't wait to see it.
The Twitter world blew up before, during and after the show as well.
