ESPN's Training Days- The Ohio State University

Oh it definitely will...they will have to make the rule that no more than 2 teams from the same conference can make the playoff, just like they did with the BCS

Well, why wouldn't they promote the SEC? All issues other than on the field performance and the fact that they don't play games outside Dixie aside, the SEC has been dominant the last ten years.

It doesn't help that two of those SEC NCs came from total ass whippings of excellent Buckeye teams, two losses to USC, two losses to Texas, Wisconsin losing two -- count 'em two, Rose Bowl games, one to TCU (!!!!!), the total collapse of the Dick Wad's Michigan teams and Penn State playing hide-the-wienie.

And yes, it concerns me that ESPN combined with SEC success will be of benefit to the SEC and unless someone ignites a fire cracker under the collective asses of Chicago and Delaney we will see even more control of the NCG by the SEC.

Got stuck on a fire call for several hours today (overturned propane tanker truck with one person trapped), so I missed it. Hopefully I'll catch it when it re-airs tomorrow.

Was a pretty solid show. I was really impressed by the level of access the cameras were given. It highlighted some cool traditions not known by most, ie. strength coaches "giving the team" to the head coach.

They didnt really delve into the sanctions, just featured the players, coaching staff, and day to day conditioning - no drama. It can only help with our recruiting and national pub.

DVR set up for round 2 tomorrow.

BTW, Im very impressed by the tough love by Coach Meyer and very impressed with Tom Herman's demeanor.

Sooooooo much energy from these guys. It reminds me of some of the military training I experienced the way the details are really drilled in. I LOVE IT!!! :oh:

When the team was all sized up and lined up in the end zone on the practice field and had em get to attention, I thought for sure the next words out of his mouth would be "OPEN RANKS, HARCH!!!"

They've been around football long enough to know what's going on. You think they don't cuss in high school too?
Right. Because knowing that it goes on and having an HBO level of gratuitous profanity put in front of the parents of potential recruits is the same thing.

My language can be pretty filthy at times, but I'm not going to wish for more swears, just so I can feel like the experience is more real.

To each their own, but if I want to see something labelled all-access, that's what I want.
