ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

A big culprit in this for you is probably two-fold: 1) The last time the Huskies were actually really good was going on 20 years ago and 2) the Buckeyes beat them in Seattle within the last seven years. As for Wazzou, who cares?

Down here in Oregon, I get a little bit o' [Mark May] about the Buckeyes, but not much since the Rose Bowl game. I've never heard a soul talk about the Buckeyes being on ESPN too much. Obviously much different states though.

They bust my chops, but not because the Buckeyes are hated in Seattle or anything. It's more just the kind of good natured sports trash talking that guys do. If I weren't a buckeyes fan I doubt anyone would ever say anything about OSU. People here love their teams but it has a different feel to it, can't really put my finger on it. It's definitely different than what I was used to growing up in Columbus. But like I said, I can't really articulate the difference. Maybe less intense? I dunno.

So the B1G is the only conference having issues defeating the middle conferences? Because that was his justification.
No. But the question only had to do with the Big Ten. The question was is the Big Ten elite and he gave reasons why it's not. For the life of me I don't know why people let this stuff bother them or why they care what guys on TV have to say.
