The hand prints are all over that mural. This is a total guess, but does that cave on the mountain near Happy Valley where Nittany (the Indian maiden they get their name from) have Native American hand prints on the walls? Or am I totally off base with this very fuzzy recollection of their traditions?

Yesterday while I was about to watch the OSU game, sportscenter was on. They were about to talk about the game and I could have sworn one of the anchors (a chubby chick, don't know the name) called Penn State "Ped State". Right after she said it the other dude on the set was laughing his ass off. Don't know if anyone else saw this.

Darn! That's what we get for ignoring ESPiN.

Tried doing a search for it--didn't find any YouTube hits referring to it (that would be a gem to locate.)

Wish I had seen it. Wonder how many of their anchors are calling it that all the time off air?
