ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Wife left Get Up on TV this morning when she left the house and I caught some of their idiotic takes. Rex Ryan in particular (paraphrased) - "There are 3 teams clearly better than every other team and you can go ahead and put them in the playoff...Clemson, LSU, and Bama. Throw whoever else you want in there because no one else can compete with those three. Ohio State? They'd just get beat 37-0 again by Clemson."

This is why you no longer have a head coaching position and instead waste your breath on a show not worth watching.

That’s a good catch, and it illustrates how internally inconsistent that hot mess is

Buckeyes are higher ranked
Their “chance to win out” is 21.8 % points lower

A reasonable person would surmise that the Buckeyes have tougher games ahead of them. “REM SOS RK” disagrees

That’s not even a hot mess; it’s cold chaos

There is the rub...you said reasonable person...….

The ONLY way I can see why or remaining strength of schedule is below Clemson's is because it still includes Rutgers. Now, after the games next weekend if our remaining SOS rank doesn't skyrocket into the top 10 or so...

Intentional chaos to prop up Clemson, a member of ESPN financial interest.........I have no doubt that Clemson is a pretty good team, but trying in any way to pimp up their schedule is hilarious

Wake is 7-2 but their best win is over a 5-5 BC team, they gave up 62 points in a L to Louisville and just lost to Va Tech's backup QB.

South Carolina is hot trash, they somehow beat UGA but since have gotten destroyed by a awful Tennessee team and lost to App State.

Lacks face validity on that count for sure. If it were me, I’d say that it doesn’t pass the “red-faced” test. You know... the test when you show a client numbers and they ask a question and you get all red-faced? Thankfully haven’t had _that_ feeling in a long time.

Didn't his son coach or play for Clemson recently?

He also has a foot fetish and used to upload creepy videos to YouTube where he played the cop and his wife played the suspect with pretty feet.

But alas, YouTube took them down.

I've been trying to understand the logic of the FPI, but its just not possible.

Good example.

The description claims the rankings are based on where they expect teams to finish the rest of the season, based on whatever wonky ass math they decide to throw out.

Iowa State is ranked ahead of Baylor

Baylor has 0 losses Iowa State has 4

Baylor beat Iowa State head to head

They project Baylor to finish with 11 wins and Iowa State with 7

Yet according to their rankings Iowa State is the "better team" the rest of the season.

:ohbrother:
