ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

I think I said this a while back, but one of e!spn's biggest failures is its website. Most big stories/opinion pieces are hidden behind their "insiders" wall, which requires you to register with the site. You can get the same content on si.com or yahoo by simply clicking on the link. I understand registering probably only takes a few moments, but I have no interest in doing it. Who thought this was/is a good idea?

I really think e!spn as an entity, barring a major shift in their philosophy/practices will be totally obsolete within the next 3-5 years.

The network died when they decided they were street hipsters. It’s basically TMZ with an occasional highlight thrown in. I actually like Burley and Nicol on ESPNFC, but that’s all I watch besides games anymore.
Outside of 30 for 30 episodes (that I stream on Amazon Prime) and actual games, I haven't watched a millisecond of their programming in probably 8-9 years. On top of that, I don't bother with their dumbass website because they insist on placing any content that's remotely interesting behind their ludicrous "insiders" wall. Their whole model is asinine. I don't know how they survive many more years with viable news entities and social media platforms essentially rendering them obsolete. Their transition to "TMZ Sports" seems to be a hail mary to try to carve out a niche for themselves.
