Only knock I have on Gus is he's a scUM fan. But, and this goes towards his professionalism, I read that about a month ago and had had NO idea before.
As for great calls from people other than Gus, who could forget:
Plays well in space
Looks good in a uniform
The defense is pinning their ears back
Passes the look test
and of course, he's got moxie.
I don't know about you, but I get pumped just reading those quotes.

One of my favorites was Tennessee vs Oregon. Oregon ran a stretch play, and the commentator said "You can't run that against SEC speed!" Well Oregons coaches box must have been next door and heard it because they proceeded to call the same play twice and picked up the first down pretty easily.

Actually heard Desmond say something I agreed with. They did a flashback to Baker's flag trick, and then his "apology."
