I don't know if the dude is brilliant or not, and i certainly don't know if he could be quality TV and radio material but I do know he railed against SEC bias like a lone wolf all last year. I will say I hated it 10 years ago when he wore those DKNY hats. Cutesy in a way no football player should be.

I can appreciate calling out ESPN's bias... but it gets a bit weird when you realize his alternative message is that FSU, Jameis Winston, and Jimbo Fisher are being unfairly criticized by the media. ESPN was notably very soft on FSU too... unlike how they went after tattoos. NYT and Fox did all the actual reporting on those issues... ESPN ran a short doc about how brilliant Winston was, sucked Jimbo off every time FSU was broadcast, and actively campaigned for Winston's heisman in 2013.

ESPN's bias and penchant for sweeping SEC's violent offenders under the carpet is bad, but Kanell just wants them to add FSU to the teams they'll cover for.

Shouldn't Baylor and TCU both be 50%... can't see Minnesota being anything more than a speedbump for TCU, and Baylor's lineup of SMU, Lamar, and Rice is truly daunting.
Wouldn't surprise me if the only top-25 opponent they play outside themselves is the old Wizard.
