Looks like a pretty easy modification to remove the bottom pedestal with the amway logo.

Guys, no one is going to give millions to a national championship, paying for naming rights, and not demand their name on the trophy unless they are fools.
People want to pay coaches these obscene salaries, many multiples of what the President of the United States earns, then they have to put up with a bit of commercialization. I hate it, but you just can't have one without the other.
This. I don't recall any corporate logos (other than the default Nike swoosh) being on the locker room T-shirts and other swag, which most of us will be wearing nearly every day for the next year...So much negativity. Can't you all just put down the haterade for a few days and bask in the glow of Ohio State having won the inaugural 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship presented by AT&T?
ESPN incorrectly states the AFCA Coaches’ Trophy is retired
When Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer hoisted the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy, it was supposed to be the end of an era…the BCS era.
No longer would the Waterford crystal of the AFCA Coaches’ Trophy serve as the de facto national championship trophy.
Fun fact: National champions will now be awarded two championship trophies under the guidelines of the current system.
The American Football Coaches Association Executive Director, Grant Teaff, issued a statement Tuesday that clarified some false statements regarding the Coaches’ Trophy.
“On behalf the American Football Coaches Association, we would like to take this opportunity to address inaccuracies communicated by ESPN on last night’s National Championship broadcast,” Teaff said in the statement. “The first of which is Chris Fowler‘s statement that the Crystal Ball is retired. This is incorrect, as the AFCA Coaches’ Trophy presented by Amway (i.e. the ‘Crystal Ball’) is alive and well, and will soon be awarded to the No. 1 team of the Amway Coaches Poll, the Ohio State University Buckeyes. More information about that award ceremony will be released soon.
“Secondly, it was also indicated the Crystal Ball was awarded over the last 16 years. In actuality, the AFCA Coaches’ Trophy has been the Symbol of Supremacy in College Football for 29 years, since 1986, and has been awarded annually to the winner of the Coaches Poll, now the Amway Coaches Poll, ever since.”
Thus, the Buckeyes will be awarded with two trophies to represent a single championship.
Meyer will just add them to his Hall-of-Fame resume.

YES....more hardware for the trophy case:

But most importantly, did Tyvis Powell get a hat for each of the trophies?Nice, I've always liked how this one looks more. The Amway thing is just a base -- all the pics of the Coaches' Trophy are just of the top part.
The Dr. Pepper Vagina Trophy is ugly as sin.
Also get the AP's Trophy.
So 3 for the NC, plus the Sugar for the Semifinal, and the MVP awards (I assume University gets a 2nd one like Heisman? Maybe not?)... a lot of hardware associated with the playoffs.
OMFG!! Well here is proof positive that you can make stats say whatever you want!! GIGO!!
ESPiN's FPI has tOSU third behind Oregon AND Alabama after the NC Game!!

So does Oregon get a trophy? That is impressive on so many levels. Methinks their formula needs some tweaking.
