No, I made a response to whether or not I thought the argument of violence against women is justified. Get it staight, asshole. And, if you read that statement, you would see that I do not. Your're the one who threw the Rousey pic up. Even though I was making an argument that you are too dense to see about not violating women. My point was the same as Bill Burr's, which is 1.) is there ever a reason to hit a woman ? the answer is yes. Just like there is a reason to hit anyone. Because the woman stands, literally, no chance of winning against a competent male fighter. Men are, on average 5x stonger than women. She can be a Bad Ass. and some one of limited skill of the opposite strength can beat her on sheer physical superiority. That'a all it is. You want to turn it int a me an Rousy thing, i'm al for it. I'd love nothing better than to get my ass kicked by her, but to argue that she could kick my ass or,even, your fat ass is probably hyperbole.

No where in any of this does it disclose what Skip Bayliss' response was to Screamin A's diatribe...... Let's face it, if Screamin A says something stupid, Skip can ALWAYS one-up him...... Until I know what that response was, I cannot make a reasonable judgement.

So, bait and switch has taken place?

Anyway, ABC/ESPN networks use a great many Big Ten personalities and I'm wondering: 1. Are there staff meetings where they're told what to push and what to shy away from? 2. Is this reflected in their contracts? 3. By owning the telecast rights to the playoffs it seems that ESPN will have the final voice in all the W/W/W/W and H decisions. 4. It would also seem that
ESPN is in bed with all the bowl site committees (read local C of C).

I've long bitched about the fact that SEC, Texas and Pac 10 teams have a built in home court advantage through the bowl system. If the answers to my questions are what I think they are, then this only increases that advantage and creates something far from a level playing field. Why would Big 10 coaches and administrators agree to such a system?
