But nobody would be dumb enough to answer "yes" to that question, right? Not even Skip Bayless is ignorant enough of modern sports to think that Popovich would ever do something like that, right?! Skip Bayless might say some stupid things, but he wouldn't say something that was that stupid, right!?!?

Wrong. Skip Bayless said that if Gregg Popovich "could get away with it," he would rest the Spurs stars tonight. Skip?s reference to Popovich "getting away with it" is almost certainly a nod to the November incident in which Pop rested Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, and Danny Green in a game against the Heat. David Stern fined the team $250,000 for acting "in a manner contrary to the best interests of the NBA."

Yep. There's no conspiracy if the team "designated to win" has to rely on a 3-pointer with 5 seconds left just to force OT.

I don't think there is a conspiracy in the NBA. For one, the NBA and it's employees are far too incompetent to pull it off and for another, you know these people have issues keeping their mouths shut, it would be out and about as soon as someone didn't get their way about something.
