Supposedly running ANOTHER story on OSU this Sunday on Outside the Lines.

No agenda. Nothing to see here. Move along.

How should the NCAA sanction OSU? Join us Sunday AM for more on the OSU investigation.

They're not even pretending to be objective anymore.

Perhaps we should change the title of the thread to "ESPN looking stupid still", and that we look into a show title of our own, titled "How should NCAA sanction ESPN?" ESPN make more money on the backs of student athletes than any institution. Hypocrite is the kindest label that can be applied.

Outside of a couple of the "30 for 30" broadcasts, I haven't watched a second of e!spn programming since bowl season...and then it was only the games. There are simply much better alternatives to get news/highlights/etc...

Don't watch it, there's nothing to bitch about. I guess ignorance really is bliss.

plain and simple......

OSU represents/leads the BigTen conference....which represents the last holdout against ABC/ESPN's monopoly on college football.

OSU is in ESPN's head and it's obvious now

OSU is going to become the tragic hero soon

How about "ESPN (worldwide leader of stupidity)"??

So I guess Braxton is struggling already without taking a snap in fall camp. I can only presume that they got that from the freshman press conference where Braxton basically said
coming in early really helped, but it can take years to learn to whole playbook. He says he has the running plays down, and is still learning the passing plays and all of their routes.
. I really wish I was an insider to see what the whole rumor is, but I guess that still learning the passing plays and routes before you even put on the pads on in fall camp is cause for concern. He seemed to know the plays he was running in the spring.

ABOUT RUMOR CENTRAL

Rumor Central is a collaboration -- an aggregation built upon constant tips and analysis from ESPN’s internal sources and numerous external sources and links from all over the web. We will debunk, debate, acknowledge the possibilities, connect the dots and speculate logically. We are listening for everything and filling the gray area -- the news before the news. Because until it’s confirmed, it’s just a rumor.

Ignore it. That's their way to try to get you to purchase an insider subscription, then when you read the story, it says, "Oh, he's ACTUALLY doing fine now, LOL"

FYI - it's 9:27 Central and ESPN just offered a 'college football fix in 3 minutes' to all the rules violations and issues in College Football today.

This should be good.....

And for all that may be saying something - I'm working from home today and have ESPN playing in the background cause I wanted to see how the Yankees/Sox played out last night. When it came on and I heard, "Yankees Suck!!!" I kinda figured out what happened....

EDIT - ESPN begins with, of course, mentioning tOSU. They have a panel of 'analysts' - moderated by Rece Davis:

Panelists:

Kirk, Mark May, Robert Smith, Rod Gilmore, Jay Bilas (basketball), Urban Meyer, and Mike Belotti. Joan Cronin (Tennessee athletic director), and Nick Saban, and Bob Stoops. They also had Mike Tanhhhhhhh something or other (former Big East Conf Pres).

And it begins.

Urban - Basically says that the Coaches should be fired for secondary violations if we're holding the kids responsible for things. Stoops says the same thing - if I'm holding a 18 year old kid responsible, why not hold a 45 year old grown man responsible.

Rece - "Most important rule for enforcing?"

Kirk - Control the enforcing third parties and outside influences. Saban agreed with Kirk.

Robert Smith - "Pryor was more important than a long snapper. They should pay the kid." Gilmore agrees with Smith.

Mark May with a shiat eating look. Now a bunch of arguing.

Kirk says I like BCS.

Mark May - "I still like a plus 1 game. Wahhhh"

Saban - "Most coaches don't like a plus one, dumbass."

The rest of it airs on Sunday....on Sportscenter...ROFLOL
