So I had this talk with a crazy person today that tried to convince me that we are at "the end of days". I only became convinced that they were crazy.
Cited as proof that we are at "the end of days":

1. Lots of big powerful earthquakes.

was watching a show on the haiti quake last night and they expect more earthquakes of similar size along the same fault line. possibly another 7+ hitting haiti.

3. The US government is going to pass a bill to implant us all with micro chips and they say that doing so would be the mark of the beast. (I don't know if any of this is true, it probably isn't)

These morons trot out their crazy shit every decade, and they have for centuries. Just now a days, the internet tends to enable and amplify their lunacy more than standing on a milk crate or a home typed newsletter ever could have.

I remember 20 years ago, they were absolutely irreconcilably convinced that Gorbachev was the anti-Christ and "end days" were at hand. They had it all figured out with detailed lists of how he matched up perfectly with their pathetic little Revalations fantasies. Well, we know how that one turned out.
