Elias Ricks (DB LSU, transfer to Bama)

Now, I absolutely like the prospects of adding Ricks to the class and I don’t think attending IMG hurts the Bucks’ chances, but I also don’t think there is some connection between him attending IMG and increased chances of attending Ohio State. Kids go to IMG because it’s a school that attracts top talent every year.

Impossible to tell. I lurk TigerDroppings and have read one of his parents is originally from Louisiana and the other Texas. I’ve read they already bought a house in BR and relocated. I’ve read it’s completely unrelated to his college choice and they moved for work, and/or be closer to “home,” while others say it was related to his commitment to LSU. And I’ve read they are just only considering this move, and it hasn’t happened yet. Heck, there have even been multiple posts about Elias allegedly having a Tiger Eye tattoo already.

And none of these posts ever include links to respected sources.

Had thought about posting re: this weeks ago, but held off because it’s baseless rumors. I’m only posting it now since LJB quoted jbook’s tweet referencing “insiders.”

Point being, nobody really knows anything unless it comes from Elias himself. This is reaching a point where it’s gone entirely off the rails and the rumors are unfair to both Elias and his family.
