It's just random. As long as everything is "normal" with the clicks and views, it just takes a random amount of time. I've found all my eggs grew into full dragons within 10 - 13 days...I think. If the egg takes a long time to hatch, I think it goes from hatchling to adult rather quickly.

Peach, that silver hatchling you have is a rare. It's female form is really pretty. (eggs and hatchlings clicked)
