Eddie Griffin wrecks $1.5 million Ferrari Enzo

again, you miss the point of my initial statement. it is this "matter of knowing what you are doing and being able to handle the power" that is the learning curve. and there is a learning curve. most drivers must learn how to drive a car that goes from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds. you simply don't gas the car like you can with most other cars. trust me.

this is precisely the reason why i think you have no experience.

Problem is, he's already been driving these kinds of exotic cars for the movie so he should have already been acclimated to driving these kind of cars.

ding ding ding we have a winner. Not like he just went up and jumped behind the car to begin with.

And besides that all it takes in common sense which he would have picked up while he was driving the car for the movie.

while that is, or may be, partly true, these high-performance cars are finicky in their own ways. for example, the shapes of the pedals and the varying distances between them can cause problems. the paths that the sticks must maneuver through vary. the points at which the manual transmissions catch can vary. it's also likely that he was wearing an earpiece through which someone was talking to him. sure, he messed up. that's obvious. i just look at that accident and think it's cool that griffin wrecked a car worth at least $1.5 million... and the owner ends up reacting in a "that's life" way.

And you learned all of this from driving 1/4 mile in a golf course parking lot?

Give me a break Andretti.

Good thing that producer has a sense of perspective ...
