The mental mistakes these teams are showing down the stretch of games is just ridiculous.

Everyone looks and says "OH MAN THESE GAMES ARE GREAT!!!"

no. they're not. half of the teams advancing don't deserve to. some horrible play to close out games these last two days.

Washington had every chance in the world to win that game.

UNC misses their one-and-one, Washington brings it down and ends up turning it over on the inboard pass of the following possession.

UNC is up by three, Washington had 5+ seconds to dribble it down court and get a solid 3-point look to tie. Instead they throw it up at half court.

UNC touches the ball while it goes out of bounds. Washington doesn't even get a shot off behind the arc.


Again, every chance and they still lost - I don't feel one bit bad for them.

You ain't kidding. Almost every game I've watched, I've just sat nearly speechless at the end.

I hope Matta is taking notes and talking to our guys.

The only reasonable explanation is that the guy that dribbled it down court thought he could maybe get the foul called on him while shooting a "three". He probably thought like the rest of us UNC would foul him to seal the win. If he took a three point shot while getting fouled then he could ensure a chance at three points.
