I can't believe the crap that some people are spewing in this thread.

1. Bolden has been to PSU 3 times so his interest in PSU isn't "recent"

2. MSU told Bolden that they're only taking 1 QB and they recently got a commitment so that's why Bolden has dropped MSU. MSU probably was the favorite with PSU in 2nd until this occurred.

3. PSU doesn't cheat or hire family members in order to secure commitments and Mr. Bolden didn't ask for a job at MSU either so that whole story is BS. Bolden is no longer interested in MSU because MSU has secured a QB commitment (see above).

4. Bolden is probably going to select PSU on Friday because his father likes PSU due to their academic tradition and grad rates. The Boldens also like the Spread HD offense. Our other QB commitment for 2010 recently broke his ankle and will miss his HS SR season so Bolden probably sees and opportunity there. Also, Newsome hasn't played a down yet at PSU so nothing's guaranteed to him either.

:slappy: We'll see how "High Definition" it is after losing the WR's who made the offense go. If you think Royster can carry the O by himself, you're sadly mistaken. Enjoy the return to mediocrity.

I didn't think MSU secured another commitment until Bolden had notified MSU that he was thinking of heading in a different direction. I think that's what spurred MSU to seek an alternative.

THat's not to say that there's any funny business going on w/ Bolden's recruitment at PSU, but your timeline of events seems off.

This has already been well-covered, so you don't need to run over here to defend PSU's honor. This is also a buckeye recruiting forum which is strictly moderated, so we're not interested in dormant threads being dug up to talk about tired subjects. We had to lock every single UM verbal thread at one point because of various UM fans doing just that.

Looking at your posts on BSD, you seem like you could be a good poster around here (other than claiming that avg 40s of 4.62 vs 4.64 vs 4.66 proves something meaningful). The chutes and ladders post was particularly strong. In threads outside of the recruiting forum, feel free to defend your program and back it up. Those are much more open discussions. This subforum exists as an archive of news for buckeye recruits, not a discussion thread (even OSU fan discussions are split off frequently).

BGrad04...I think it will be an OSU/PSU battle for the Big 10 championship in the end. Agreed, rWR is a concern for PSU but so is OSU's receiving corp our concern. Also, PSU has concerns in their secondary. Everything else is pretty even IMO. PSU get home field advantage and its a tough place to play. Should be the game of the year for OSU next to the USC game of course.

Bolden looks like a PSU lock at this point. Best of luck!

The Mods can split this off if needed, but I don't think they'll be that good. I don't think their talent across the board is high as ours. We should've won last year, and last year's PSU team was alot more talented than this year's. They normally don't "reload" like the elite's. But it'll no doubt be a tough game for us because it's on the road...but if both teams play to their full abilities...OSU wins 9/10 times this year....on paper of course.

Since the White Out has been already declared for the Iowa game, we need to come up with a theme for the OSU game. We all expect the OSU game to be the biggest of the year so it's worthy of some sort of group effort.
At first I thought of bacon but then I thought that would be too greasy so then my mind wandered to the Urban legend that is Terrelle Pryor. I thought of how awesome it would be if we let him know just how country we all are in Happy Valley. Now of course some of us like myself are Urban Cowboys but that doesn't matter none(threw that in for affect). We're all rural brothers from Happy Valley regardless of our background so maybe we can all do our best to dress the part on 11/7. I definitely think my youngin(I'm scaring myself) and I will be in HV with a Too Country Tshirt and a pair of overalls! Who's with me?!!!!

I like this one because it's redneck sheik! It shows some skin but covers the nipples!

This is a nice selection for the ladies because they can wear their sports bras under the overalls if it's an Indian Summer! Nice!!
