Ok this is gonna sound odd I had a snowflake fly into my ear on Saturday. It melted way down in there and now for the last 5 days i can't hear shit. I tried oil and ear candling, neither worked. Any suggestions?

Really, see a doc. If it's something like swimmer's ear, it will only get worse, and if you happen to have an inner ear infection that just happened to occur when the snake flake raped your ear, you will need antibiotics for that as well.

Actually, that could get worse too. Makes more sense to see a doc to rule out the 1% chance it could turn into something that might impair your hearing. You don't want to wind up in a Best Buckeye and Cincinnati conversation, where every third word is what?

Wouldn't that cause pain? It doesn't hurt at all.

Not necessarily...I've had so many infections etc in my one ear, I've lost over 20% hearing in it.

Have you tried popping your ears? Hold your breath and squeeze your nose, then try to release the air in your lungs but keep your mouth shut and nose covered. Obviously don't do it too hard either because it might hurt, it releases some pressure

bucks4me and I have a baby girl that gets ear infections pretty frequently. It requires antibiotics (amoxicillin) for ten days to clear up. It's obviously very discomforting; the first symptom is that our baby girl cries when we're trying to feed her a bottle and she usually refuses to take formula because of the pain associated with sucking on a bottle.

So, clearly, the first question as to whether or not you might have an ear infection is whether it's painful for you when you suck on things ...
