Oh hey look, that's me on the video game. That's not awesome at all, I want my money.

BayBuck;1463039; said:Take away the profit for the institutions and you take away their incentive to keep providing the infrastructure for the games to be played. Plus, it's not realistic to think that a merit-based pay scale would work out as well for the 85th scholarship player as a team's stars. Not a heck of a lot of these players are expecting to get more than a (possibly-expensive and more profitable than athletics) education out of the deal either, so for the majority the current system--which can finance hundreds of athletes and athletic staffers at so many schools--is working out as much on an individual level as an institutional one.

martinss01;1463168; said:whether i would be honored or not would be directly related to how accurately they depicted me in the game. if they were able to properly encapsulate my sub 3 second 40, 900lb bench press and 12 foot dick then yeah were cool... anything less though. thats flat out insulting and im gonna demand reparations!
personally i think more than a few of you are more concerned your favorite game is in danger than if he has a legit case.

why didnt he say something 2 or 3 years ago? its just funny to me how he goes out and fails to make it in pro football, ends up working as a bartended THEN tries to file a suilt to fill his own pockets

3074326;1463278; said:I can see that being disappointing, but I'd still be more excited than upset. I definitely wouldn't be upset to the point that I'd want to sue. It would just be cool.
you're talking about actual programming of physics & ability, something EA has shown no interest in doing. They even refuse to copy their existing code from madden.powerlifter;1463291; said:Yea,it was just humourous. Then again,if Ea made all players speed legit (small schools do have fast players, just not as skilled in most cases),then the game would be a lot different, considering speed is already too big of a factor.

if EA did that, every SEC school would have offensive linemen who are faster than big 10 (and every other conferences) HBs and WRs :2004:Yea,it was just humourous.
