Dylan Raiola (QB Nebraska)

I disagree. Had a 5 star showed up a month before the season to take over for a friend I grew up with? Who I worked out and grinded with all off season I’d dispise the kid.

Particularly if he doesn’t perform well.
If that new 5star is undoubtedly better than your friend, and gave you a better chance at winning state, I can assure you, you would get over your buddy being benched.

But I fully agree if the new kid doesn't perform well. Then all bets are off

Which from what we can tell he hasn’t really performed the past few years
Which baffles me why analysts kept fighting for him to stay at #1. Yes, he has a college ready body, and has a cannon for an arm. But his stats haven't been out of this world and it doesn't look like any of his teammates are hurt emotionally when he leaves. Sounds to me like a kid feasting on HS talent, because he has more god given tangibles. But IMO, Sayin and Noland look WAY better than Raiola. And on the low, you can possibly even throw DJ Lagway over him too

The Georgia commit will get pressure from other quarterbacks – and also five-star WR
Jeremiah Smith
– for the top-rated player in the 2024 class but Raiola is coming into his own at his new school. The Buford, Ga., standout is completing 65% of his passes for 891 yards with 12 touchdowns, and maybe most importantly, no interceptions yet.

SO he has almost the least amount of passing yards as any QB on this list, yet stays at #1... Makes sense
