Ed Cunnigham on ESPiN was killing Fickell over the press conference for not giving any answers and talking "coach speak". Every great coach doesn't actually answer the media's questions and they all talk in "coach speak." Have you seen a Jim Tressel, Phil Jackson, or Bill Belichick press conference?

On to more important things, I was happy with the Fickell press conference and he really does look like he's ready to put on a helmet and tackle somebody. I could feel his intensity through the television.

I think it's silly for people think we were gonna bring in another OC. I mean it's past spring ball, you can't expect to put in a new system/shceme/etc. during fall camp. I think LF is will wait until the next season to really put his hands into the offense. I do think Bolls will get alot of input from Drayton though, but thats IMO.

I think LF main goal is to keep things pretty similar to what they have been. I think he wants to put the best product on the field this season, then tweak things to his liking next offseason. Tress' leaving put LF and OSU is a pretty tough spot to make too many changes.

The analyst they had on with Erin Andrews covering the press conference. I had to look him up. He has called games on ABC/ESPN and he played at Washington in the late 80s and early 90s. Given the presence of Erin Andrews, I didn't pay much attention to him, then he started talking and I switched to Big Ten Network. I should ding myself for watching ESPiN when they are covering Ohio State, trying to find someone competent and neutral on ESPiN on Ohio State is harder than finding a needle in a haystack.
