Seems to be asking himself WWJTD rather than what needs to be done to be the HC at tOSU next year. The decision making on offense tonight leaves a lot to be desired.

But to answer more directly, when both guys are sucking, you play the one who is going to be The Man for the next 3 seasons to get him some work. You don't play a guy with no particular skill that has proven he can't win you a game, and a guy that is gone after this season.
