Dumbest States in America

Four of the ten smartest states are in B10 country.

To be honest and unbiased for a second .If you look at all the Big Ten colleges academically, they are all good/great schools (yes that includes OSU). It doesn't matter what school you talk about in the Big Ten, they all have certain programs that are top notch and overall great places to get degrees.

Nebraska, #8 smartest state. Frankly, I'm offended they rank us so low. Not only are Nebraskans damned good looking and exceptionally nice, but we're also very, very intelligent.

It's not boasting when it's the truth.

Why would anyone want to live in Louisiana? We get just a whiff of the humidity you folks get, Ubet. A few days a year around here we get humidity upwards of 75%. Most spring/summer days it's around 50%-65%, and that's just way too much. I can't imagine wearing a long-sleeved shirt and tie in weather like that, every day. That weather's not fit for man or beast.

I really like New Orleans but I think I'd prefer to just visit rather live. Those morning eye openers at Brennan's could become habit forming.

I just had a caramel centered chocolate cake with coffee and chicory flavored ice cream (with about 25% butterfat) over home made caramel corn - with a double espresso.

Now the battle begins: get sleepy from the rich dessert - or go into tachycardia from the coffee.

(Knowing this was in my future, no breakfast today)

on average, new orleans is either directly hit with or brushed by a hurricane every 2 years and 3 months.
I'd love to know the definition of "brushed", because I've lived here since 1982, and only left town for five hurricanes or T.S. I've been affected by four - all four with loss of electrical power for a day or more, and only one with actual property damage....that bitch Katrina.
