So Coach K denied saying what he said, but it was so clear from the video that he later admitted publicly that he did tell Brooks that he was too good a player (to take that late shot), yet he didn't call what he said in the press conference a lie. Coach K lied in his press conference, pure and simple. He didn't tell Brooks that he was a good player, he was complaining about Brooks taking that last shot, and he didn't think he'd get called on it so he lied, and then later when caught apologizes but calls his comments something other than a lie, said that he simply "reacted incorrectly" to the question :roll1:
