I'm sure this isn't how he wanted the job, but he has the opportunity of a lifetime. It'll be interesting to see if there are any staff changes now.

As much as it hurts right now, it is time to start standing behind Luke 100% for the season. Keep your eyes on the prize and that cold November day circled on your calendar, Luke. They can taste the blood in the water, but make it your bait instead of theirs.

I am excited for Luke to take over. I think his tenacity and determination can make the 2011 season very ugly for all opponents. Let all the Buckeyes hop on board and smote thy enemy. This is the perfect season to unleash the us against the world mentality and out of all the coaches on the staff, Luke is the best one to make it so. Make it so.

If the team finishes 6-6 you may change that tune.

Let's see how the season plays out before we get too rambunctious. I wish Coach Fickell the best, but I'm not ready to say I hope he gets the job permanently - nor to say I hope he doesn't.

Yeah, let's wait and see how is one year audition goes. I hope he goes 13-0, wins the National Championship, and gets a 10 year contract; but we just have to wait and see.

It will be interesting to see if all the current assistants keep their job.
