Wow, rad pickup. Bennett and Hale is a killer interior DL, with the possibility of either Farris or Brown playing there...add in that McReynolds is still a possibility too and things looks great. Regardless, this is a huge pickup and what a stretch here lately! :osu:

Wow recruiting is really rolling along. A great prospect has tremendous size and strength and fit well into the defensive scheme's tOSU runs. Can play inside and outside in the varying 3 and 4 man fronts that Heacock loves to run. I read an article about him talking about his weight and he said he could realistically get up to 320 and still be "skinny". I also like that he runs a 4.57 shuttle which is insanely quick for a 290lb guy.

man alive does this guy look to have that right combo of length, power, and speed. He reminds me of Simon Fraser but with a lot more upper body strength at this tender age.

In my opinion (and obviously in the opinion of many others as well), our classes of the past few years have been too many 'speed' and not enough 'power' recruits. Talk about rectifying the situation, here!

I truly appreciate the number of bigs we are bringing in, and it will pay SERIOUS dividends in the future. I just have to wonder what changed in JT's camp to start focusing so heavily on 'power' kids. Have there been any staff changes that would portend this type of strategy change?
