That is my assessment as well, although I am still holding out hope on Barrow as he recovers from injuries and gets his chance to shine once the aforementioned guys above graduate/enter the draft. Having a game-ready DT commit (pending his performance at the JUCO level, which I would think is going to be impressive) come in next year could be enormous. I agree that he could be a take even if Smith slides down but I am of the mind that he winds up as a SDE after seeing him dominate at that position in the offseason and slim down. And I do think the staff wants a 2nd pure DT as evidenced by their pursuit of Togiai and although I like where we sit with him, he is no sure thing.

Jackson was my #1 DT in his class and I think the staff had him at or near the top as well. Assuming he still has the talent he showed at the HS level, I would love to see him wind up in Columbus.
