First I want to apologize for not posting this sooner, I find this to be a strange thing to do, though. And a couple people here have encouraged me to do this. Was reading some similar threads, Dubs, BKB's, Peaches and others, and well...
My father passed away this past Sunday, "After a long illness."
He was 61... and that makes me feel very old right now.
I didn't post this sooner, because, well... I've pretty much haven't been dealing with things. Thrown myself into work all week... that sort of thing.
And, I suppose its not going to help that there won't be a funeral, as such... but a "family gathering" next week...
Anyway... not gonna get into a lot of detail about him. For the purposes of this, though I can think of two things that are particularly relevant. First, I didn't always like my Dad, we didn't see eye to eye on a LOT of things, but I did love him, and will miss him dearly. Second, one thing we did agree on was love of the Buckeyes, and though he didn't go to Ohio State, he told me the day I graduated from OSU was the proudest of his life.... that and he really, really, really, fucking hated Michigan.
Seems like I should say more, but I'm pretty tired from thinking about all the stuff I didn't type.
Thanks for reading this.
