I still believe that USC is his clear #1 favorite and nobody is even close. I imagine it would be hard to pull the best DB from Cal especially with the speed guys we already have in this class and are potentially gettings. IMHO!

Why do you think no one else is "even close" when he mentioned us first in not one but two interviews for sites of his other favorites?

I would believe that while we aren't the leader(USC is the leader), a good visit is going to help OSU out a lot. I think we can be a real contender here with some work.

If you check the thread, in previous articles he has said the USC is his clear leader. I have not heard anything since then to dispel those statements.MililaniBuckeye said:

And he has said nothing like that since that article... If it was undoubtedly true, he wouldn't fail to mention it. It was written by Greg Biggins, a former employee of the USC site...
USC is probably the leader. Are they a huge leader? Absolutely not. We've got a great shot if/when he steps on campus for a visit. And we have some pro-tOSU people inside the family (that much of Scott Wolf's article I have been able to confirm).

Definitely good news that it seems like he likes the Buckeyes even without a visit here as of yet. I think we are definitely a player for him when he eventually visits. A fantastic season could go a long way in helping to land him.

Not to throw water on the picnic or anything but he's 100% USC. Picture the Torrence recruitment without baseball. He's a respectful kid and he does respect OSU but he's going to USC. I don't know if wstripes still posts here but he could tell you the same thing.

Donovan says that everyone is even right now and he is not leaning to any school. He says tOSU is recruiting him pretty hard and that he likes a lot about the Buckeyes. He knows Ken-Yon Rambo, who has been talking up tOSU to him.
Pretty glowing remarks about tOSU... Funny how he only mentions USC as his leader when Greg Biggins (USC guy) is interviewing him...
