Dolphins at Browns(-4.5)

The Browns are favorites? That's unpossible!

DA's emergence as a decent QB has done two things for the Browns:

1. Give Quinn more time to study the speed of the game.

2. Give the Browns tradebait, whether its DA or Quinn, in the offseason for a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Only time will tell whether his emergence will give us more than those two things. :p

Because Cleveland will trade their rookie QB with a huge contract after one season where he hasn't played for a 2nd or a 3rd? Sure, and Johnny Sears is winning the Thorpe Award this year.

I think Cleveland has been astonished at the way DA is playing. Im sure they expected Quinn to be starting by now. The Browns are 3-3 mostly on the ability of DA and Jamal Lewis to outscore what their sieve of a defense allows. Seriously DA is playing better than any of the young QBs hyped last year like Leinart, Alex Smith or Cutler. Unless someone gets hurt I think Quinn is a backup in Cleveland at least until sometime next year, and I cant see Cleveland trading a first round player which nearly every team passed on despite needing a QB.

The shocker is with the way they are playing and the schedule they have 11-5 is not impossible. Their toughest games are Pit, Baltimore, Cinci, Arizona and Seattle and they've already beaten two of those teams once this year. Their toughest game is Pit at Pit and I think a more experienced Anderson playing a full game could suprise them though the D would have to step up as well.

Winning is what it's all about and with DA, Quinn will can still learn cause he is going to be the future QB

Just for argument's sake... Why is Quinn the future?

Anderson is currently #4 in the league in total yards and top ten for yards per game despite missing half of the Pit game

He is # 2 for passing TD's

He is top 10 in QB rating (minimum 100 attempts)

The picks are high but he is tied with romo and Palmer... not bad company.
