Does Your Spouse Like Sports?

The mother of my kids was a world class down hill skiier (national team member/olympic alternate) ... she's always up for participating in athletics but couldn't care less about watching them.

On the other hand she absolutely LOVES the atmosphere at college football games and can't get enough of seeing them live.

No way in hell would I marry a woman who purposely plays fuck fuck games while I'm watching/doing something important to me. Life is too short to deal with that kind of juvenile bullshit.

Not even a little. She'll go to the occasional OSU basketball or football game and enjoys those a lot more than when I watch at home, but still would probably rather be someplace else.

She'll get irritated every now and again with how much I follow, so I have to remind that this isn't a new development. She knew what I was like when she was dumb enough to marry me.

Mine is a big Jackets fan, but could really give a shit about football. She tolerates me watching OSU/Bengals games, but she has no interest in them herself. Luckily she doesn't bother or distract me during such games.

She's run 13 marathons and is currently training for Ironman, so um...yeah, she likes sports okay. :)

As far as spectating, she loves amateur/collegiate sports, and tolerates pro sports. The Olympics are on 24/7 in our household every 2 years, and our DVR often has things like Ironman Hawaii and the NYC marathon saved to watch multiple times, as well as the random track and field or swimming event.

My wife likes sports because I do and will watch most of them with me but doesn't know anything about them. She keeps rubbing against me and blowing in my ear. Is that good?
Except football as she is as big a Buckeye fan as I am.

First of all, Brutus' head is a buckeye. The tree is named after the nut which resembles the eye of a male deer. Ohioans are also called buckeyes by outsiders. I'm not a fucking Bucknut. I'm a Buckeye.

My wife will watch Ohio State football with me, but when any other game is on, that's when she decides she wants the house painted, garage cleaned, carpets shampooed, etc...

She'll watch an average of 5 hours of primetime tv a night all week and do nothing around the house. Come Saturday gametime, she wants to run the farking vacuum or ask me to do it. rather irritating actually
