Does anybody know anything about cars?

Could be a universal joint/axle issue. Once the rubber boot covering the universal joint gets broken/torn the axle is susceptible to wear.

If it were a timing belt that broke, on overhead cam engines like your Toyota, that would cause major engine damage. The 4 cylinder Camry engine is very robust and with basic maintenance will last to 150-200 thousand miles without a major rebuild.

If your Toyota is generally in good shape it's worth fixing.

Unfortunately, I don't..I drive a 99 Camry and last night it started making an odd noise..I wanna say it was coming from the front passenger side almost near the tire..It was like a thumping noise..I couldn't figure out what it was..I was able to drive it home but now I can't even start the car. There was a huge pot hole at the gas station last night that I didn't even see because of the rain and all that and it might have done something but I have no idea? Anybody help me out? Thanks.

MAKES YOU THINK. Every Ohioan will look at this tweet and say, "Damn, it's true."

Is it running a little hot? If so, the first thing you're going to want to do is reach down between your legs and ease the seat back.
