Hey! This year they are not having an April 1st except for a very few lucky people. It is said that if you wake up on the day which should be April 1st and it isn't then just keep going.
However if you are one of the lucky few for which April 1st does happen then just go to the local Chevy or Ford dealer and ask for your free car or truck.
I'm not kidding

Looks like I missed last year’s reminder. Wonder what was going on in the world to not care about this...

Does anyone still do pranks? Feel like people are over this “holiday.” Guess it’s hard to thread the needle of being too obvious/cheesy and pissing people off by taking it too far.

I only remember because it’s my uncle’s birthday.

So this year it seems like corporations used the Day to just shit on their customers??

Got an email from Homage (who I generally like) about 40% Buy One, Get One now being a standard deal “forever”. Click the link and it’s basically “Jk, you got rick roll’d but you can still BOGO 40% until Sunday”

Jimmy John’s email said a reward had been added and click to “scratch off” what you won. It just said “April Fools, free smells are always on the house.”

Thank You, multi-million dollar companies. May I have another?

(maybe just go with a fake new product launch next year, assholes)

Building a basement house currently for our family.

Told everyone we were notified we had to stop digging because we are near Osage Indian burial grounds.

Yeah I have a premier spinning in 7' Med, med action, second on the fishing acquisition list currently. (Well, 2nd or 3rd) since I have a size 35 Pflueger president that needs a home.

It was too big for my last 6ft medium fast action and a president XT limited with a graphite body fell into my lap for that.

Just to make things even more confusing to non fishermen, I've been into the JDM only Daiwas for awhile and I've gotten really good at super tuning them.

Back to your 35 series reel-i can see how that would really be unbalanced on any 6' rod. The good thing about the St Croix is that the M fish almost like a MH, so it should be a great fit.
These days I'm almost exclusively braid to mono leader on my spinning reels-I like a 15lb leader when toothy creatures are present
