I see where you're coming from (Bucklion, not Jose Bastardo), but I think the difference is the surrounding cast. Katz had a good defense, but teams schemed solely
for him. Offenses will not have that luxury this year, with the LB's we have, there is no way to scheme around Hawk. If they do, they get eaten alive by Capenter, Schlegel, etc. I think a couple teams may try, but when they fail that dismally, nobody else will. Plus, after watching both Katz and Hawk play, Hawk is a shitload
better at shedding blocks and making plays. Katz seemed to accept his role of being the defensive focus, and was content simply to be double-teamed. Hawk isn't. Double-team him, and he'll make the play anyways.
So yeah, I'd have to agree with you, you aren't ignorant.
