Any word on the extent of Kudla's Injury?

He got up slow in the 4th quarter, and later i saw him on the sideline without his pads on.

also saw his father on the sideline who looked like (by his gestures) he was taking to an OSU fficial about Mike's shoulder or neck?

my seats were in 23AA about 10 rows up from the field right behind OSU sideline

Mike Kudla Breaks own record Again

I have no way to validate this information, it was told to me today by a customer of mine who's son is close friends with Mike. I actually met these folks a few weeks ago, got to talking sports and found out that their son is friends with Mike. Mike supposedly put up the 585 on the bench yesterday. That is just plain sick. Would love to hear this from anyone here close to the program that knows it for fact, although I have no reason to believe that it's not true.

Wow. Benching 585 on it's own would be amazing for anyone but considering Mike is lucky to be alive it makes it that much more impressive.

Hopefully he can stay healthy this year and plays his way into the 1st day of next year's draft.

The folks that I've spoken of here have had the pleasure of meeting Mike on many occasions and say that this kid as twice as nice as he is strong. I really feel this is going to be a breakout year for Mike. The kid certainly deserves it, after some nagging injuries as well as his near brush with death after the "02 Fiesta.

Mike Kudla is simply the kind of kid that makes all Buckeye fans proud. If his game ever catches up with his physical ability he'll be a Hall Of Famer. This guy has done nothing but work his ass off to be a great football player long before he ever came to TOSU. Actually, if as a High School Senior Mike had shown up at the NFL combines nameless and with a mask on his face, he would have been a 1st Round pick on his physical attributes alone.

Best of luck in "05" Mike!!! Now quit being such a pussy and put up the Goddamn 600!!!! :)

Good, but not amazing. In fact I just got back from my workout and I pushed up 595 4 times......... :wink2:

I expect big things from Mike this season, when he was healthy last year he started to show what he can become. I think he'll have a huge year along side Quinn Pitcock.
