What this program has accomplished over the years is simply amazing. NO team in ANY sport has dominated a sport in a division the way that Mount Union has.

As a charter member of the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Kenyon College Lords swimming and diving team claimed its first conference championship in 1938. Kenyon remained in the OAC until the 1984-85 season. From 1938 through 1984, the Lords won a total of 37 OAC Championships, including 31 straight championships from 1954-1984

The Buckeyes Synchronized Swimming team, with their 28 National Championships, including 13 straight from 1985 through 1997, are somewhat surprised at this comment. :osu:

Iowa's wrestling team (20 titles between 1975 and 2000) and North Carolina's women's soccer team (16 titles between 1982 and 2000) are some other examples of long-term domination of an NCAA sport.

You are right, I stand corrected. When I went to their website, there were two title links "NCAA" on the left and "NCAC" on the right...nearly identical. I didn't differentiate the two at first and clicked the NCAC link.

NO Milwood, I'm the one who should stand corrected for making such an idiotic post in the first place. When I talk about SPORTS, the narrow minded pompous a.ss that I am should have stated "Major" sports (Football, Baseball, Basketball, and for these purposes, even Hockey), or except for Wrestling, sports that I give a rats-a.ss about.

Hell, I should have included included a T-Ball team that I coached back in the early 1980's that won a WHOPPING 59 games in a row! Seriously! Anybody out there that's ever been associated with T-Ball (5-8 year olds) will realize that that stat is mind-boggling
