Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

"tough life when people...uhhh do certain thngs to you, but you all have been great!" After that, it's let the pep rally commence.

I'm stunned and sickened. Somebody turn this heartless, senile egomaniac into f*cking soylent green already.
You have to remember that his mindset now views all of this through the prism of an octogenarian comfortable with suppositories.

FYI: names are being x-checked w/Sandusky's Second Mile, and there are other older adult men with "curious" relationships. Only the start.

If Sandusky knew other sickos were involved in the same kind of deviant acts he was through his charity...words cannot describe the sickness and fuckupedness of it.

Yeah they just had a quick clip of the crowd on sportscenter... Mob scene chanting Joe
But you know - for all of this attention Paterno is getting, I can't shake my personal belief that McQuery should be getting the lion's share of the negative press - instead of the focus on Joe.

Right now I do not know exactly what was said to JoePa - or what he did later. I DO know that son-of-a-bitch McQueary personally saw a young boy being anally raped against a shower wall by an older man and did absolutely nothing about it at the time.

Every time I see his face on TV I want to hurt him. Bad.

What are they holding up one finger for? Do they realize they're not at a sporting event, and that this will more than likely cripple their university?

Couldn't avoid noticing the several "Joe Knows...Football" shirts. Do they not teach the concept of irony at PSU???

i'm sure the district attorney would be more than happy to offer a plea bargain if it means taking down many men in positions of power.

This eleven minute clip of Matt Millen is a really good capsule of what they are going through right now.

I wanted to throw something at the TV a few times as it appeared that he was defending Joe and State Penn in a way that was bizarrely homerish. And then, it morphed into Millen breaking down and crying and wanting to hurt somebody. You can see the toll that this is taking as the dream of what the place meant is being stripped away before his eyes.

Oh note, Millen is also on the board of the "Second Mile" charity with Sandusky, so he is also having to deal with his role as enabling a predator. Riveting stuff.

Being nostalgic, and thinking back on some the the most terrible things I know of in the history of sports are things like the Marshall plane crash, the Evansville plane crash, the Figure skating team plane crash, the Bluffton bus crash, and the worst of all, the execution of the Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics. Just a few quick examples of the injustices that are out there every single day, and you never know when you're gonna get hit with one.

This story, on the other hand, is disturbing and reprehensible beyond comprehension, because even though it happened within the "sports" world, it has nothing to do with "sports." Any of all of those involved here that had knowledge of these incidents and did nothing don't deserve to lose their jobs, they deserve to lose their freedom! From Jo-Pa to the grad-ass that witnessed the anal rape of a 10 year old boy and all the way up and down the line, these people are criminals in my mind and need to be dealt with accordingly.

In a previous life, 24-14 years ago, I was a Child Abuse caseworker. Now I want all you parents out there to take a good, hard look at how you would feel about sitting down next to a 6 year old child that you never met before in your life and having her recount to you how bad it hurt when "daddy put his pee-pee in my wee-wee." I love sports and sports quotes, but THAT quote from that little girl, well, just rest assured that I'll take that one to my grave.

Granted, these are all "allegations" at this point, and in this country you're entitled to "due process" I believe is the term. BUT, IMO, anyone who walks this planet with knowledge of a chilld having been raped or molested of whatever you wanna call it and looks the other way is as guilty as the perpetrator themself.

Thats All

No "Peace" in this thread.

Seems self-evident. If you see a 10-year-old child being raped, you don't go to your boss, you report it to the police. Immediately. This little fuck needs to be taken somewhere and horsewhipped. (Allegedly.)

I think everyone should put themselves in Paterno's shoes when he hears the allegation. Do you believe the word of a graduate assistant or of a close friend you've known for nearly 30 years without any indication of perversion? I can see myself being wrong about someone I knew and liked who was sly about covering his tracks. JoePa took the story to his superiors; the right person to go to the police was the person who observed the rape personally -- McQueary.

All this being said, Paterno's press-conference language relative to the victims was inexcusable.

Puts me in mind of a rabbi who was busted on the To Catch a Predator show. After that happened, a photo surfaced of the guy at some gathering with a group of other rabbis. Turns out, he was one of FOUR men in that one photo who had been either accused or already convicted of molestation.

Birds of a feather...

Not this shit again.

Hey Jerry, could you stop fucking kids in the shower at Lasch Hall like I asked after the cops investigated you four years ago? McQueary is getting the wrong idea.

Just wondering how ugly it could get this week in "Happy Valley" when the Paterno "supporters" and the Paterno "get rid of his sorry-ass'ers" meet face to face. Just wonder if there's ever been a situation where fans of the same team actually riot against one another? Don't laugh, this could very well happen.
