Not me. This scene just makes it more clear that he should have been stopped many years ago.

Trust me, my hate for that shithole far exceeds everyone here except maybe BN27's. They FINALLY got it right and took people from the OUTSIDE of that sinking ship University to do it. Ped State is going to get theirs now, the Feds, the State of PA and the court of public perception are going to ruin that school for now and forever and it's about fucking time.

Defense Atty Rominger: "Sandusky has been a law-abiding citizen... except for these charges. He respects the process and that's why he was allowed to walk out without handcuffs."

Anderson Cooper: "He was brought out in handcuffs."

Rominger: "Absolutely. [silence]"

Now Toobin is tearing this defense clown apart for asserting they can win an appeal because Sandusky didn't get a continuance.

It is baffling to me that a continuance wasn't granted if it is true that the prosecution dropped 1000s of pages of documents days before trial. At least one continuance is usually the standard.

The expert defense attorney that CNN had on said he's been in that kind of situation himself. His attitude was basically, "tough shit". and that it wouldn't be a winner on appeal. I'm no lawyer myself, just passing along what I saw on TV on this topic.

The same expert said he thought the hearsay testimony of the janitor who is no longer competent to testify is more of a possibility for a successful appeal. That would only concern a handful of the charges though.
