I can't think of a punishment that would do that crime justice. The people that covered it up need to burn as much as Sandusky.

Jerry Sandusky's alleged Victim One told a Centre County jury this morning he would hide, sometimes underneath a pool table, in Sandusky's basement to avoid being molested by the former football coach.
"I decided I was going to start avoiding him," the man, now 18, told jurors during the tearful testimony. "When I would stay at his house I would hide underneath a pool table, waiting for a time when his wife would want him to go upstairs."
"There was nowhere to hide," the man said, describing his experiences with Sandusky as an 11- and 12-year-old.
The man testified he tried to distance himself from Sandusky, but the former coach would yell at him for not spending enough time with him and not making time for him.
The man said Sandusky gave him gifts, including golf clubs, clothes and shoes. The man said he met Sandusky through The Second Mile, a children's charity the former PSU coach founded. After his second year in the program, he began spending time one-on-one with Sandusky, he testified.
After his third year in Second Mile, when he was about 11, he began spending time at Sandusky's home, the man testified. He spent time there on weekends during the school year and weekdays during the summer, he said.
The man testified Sandusky would rub his back, crack his back, roll around with him and blow on his stomach before performing oral sex while he was staying in Sandusky's basement. The man said the oral sex would happen 80 percent to 90 percent of the time after Sandusky blew on his stomach.
Victim One said he didn't say or do anything about the alleged abuse because he was embarrassed. "With all the thoughts running through my head. I just blacked out and didn't want it to happen," the man testified. "It just happened. I didn't know what to say."
And the nutjub reaction......concern over how this information leaked.
I have some questions on this article. How can someone close to the investigation reveal this information? It seems to me that this information if not the source is GJ information. Did they amend their GJ statement or whatever the State calls it? Yesterday I figured that there was no way that the AG would leak this information on the first day of the JS Trial. Withall these comments appearing in the press I am not so sure. What gives?

At least they have priorities.
Sandusky, nor any child molester, are ?monsters.? We like to say that because it makes us feel better but they are human beings. Human beings with some crossed wires in their brains.
It?s very likely that Sandusky genuinely loves these kids and that just gets mixed up with the sex part and he can?t control it. I?m no psychiatrist but it?s not that hard to imagine. People fall ?in love? with their therapists or their jailers (Stockholm Syndrome) and whenever we see one of those cases of a kid running away with their teacher ? classic Geraldo/Oprah fodder ? both teacher and kid always plead that they?re really in love.
The human mind is very complicated. There are so many ways for it to go wrong, the miracle is that mental illness isn?t more common than it is.

Wait, so assistant coaches, to include future interim coach Tom Bradley, saw this monster showering with young teen and pre-teen boys...and sometimes joined them...and didn't say anything???The witness didn't help Penn State, either. He said four assistant coaches saw him showering with Sandusky at different times although no sexual activity occurred at that time because from the shower they could hear someone working the coaches locker room lock, giving Sandusky time to step away.
At one point, the witness said former assistant coach Tom Bradley got into the showers with Sandusky and the boy. The witness said he believed Bradley was "suspicious," and did it to assure the boy's safety, refusing to leave until Sandusky did first.
A plea from a PSU fan that they are under the microscope, and maybe looking for every single plausible reason why Sandusky might be innocent makes them look like assholes. This is, of course, met with strong denials from the very people he's talking about. Shocking, I know.psufan1 said:But can you imagine posters from other boards opening up these threads and reading how some fans are trying to defend Sandusky and his actions against children?
And then the voice of reason.psufan2 said:Nobody is defending Sandusky. I think you need to hone your reading comprehension skills.
I'm defending the people who are being thrown under the bus for not having extrasensory perception. Guys like Tom Bradley and the other coaches mentioned. And then those harmed by the idiots at the top MM and Joe Paterno.
How can Tom Bradley be thrown under the bus when he had no suspicion, or had no reason to have suspicion? That's who I, and some others are defending. Read a little closer.
It's kind of telling for their whole fanbase that what should be the common sense, no brainer reaction is actually the rare sense of common decency on their whole board. Kudos to you, GOB....for not being a scumbag.NotoriousGOB said:There's nobody actively defending Sandusky or his actions. But I absolutely do get the sense that some people appear to be rooting for an acquittal. Nobody will come out and admit that, of course, but if you read enough posts, you'll see who they are. They constantly question the evidence and reserve a skepticism for the prosecution that is not equally applied to the defense. And there are indisutably people whose primary concern is the effect on the university/football program, which I find extremely disturbing.

oe Amendola kept grasping at straws, kept seeking angles to prop up his client as a kind-hearted guy who was the victim of overaggressive police and money-hungry accusers.
So he tried to take the words of the trial's first witness, known as Victim No. 4 in court documents, and spin them around. Earlier Monday, the witness, who was a weak 13-year-old boy when he met Sandusky but is now a no-nonsense 28-year-old man, had said the former Penn State defensive coordinator treated him "like a son."
Victim No. 4 just shook his head and dismissed the suggestion that anything positive could be gleaned from the description.
"He treated me like a son in front of other people," the witness said, sternly, with an air of scolding toward the defense attorney.
"Aside from that, he treated me like his girlfriend."
As gasps were audibly heard in the courtroom for a line straight off a movie script, Amendola paused, shuffled his notes and kept fumbling as the witness maintained his steely posture.
