Just to be clear since I know that this is directed toward me. I never wanted to bench Fox, I wanted him to play safety. His leadership and tackling skills would have worked well there. His coverage is what I thought was weak, and still do, because I have had nothing to prove me wrong (although I admidt his improvement prior to the injury was good). The two corners we have been playing, cover skills I do not see a problem with. Fox, Shawn Springs, or even Deion Sanders in his prime I don't believe could have stoped Wisconsin's touchdown receptions this past week. Those were just perfectly thrown balls, and when that happens it is hard to stop.

Hey....mistakes get made and misunderstandings occour.......i challenge the poster to say that the SGN content is in the same area code as BP now?

I asked that a little time be given and some great differences happened...this will continue....

I have a question I hope somebody here can help me with.

I have an offer from Credit Card "Alpha" to transfer balances onto it for 3.9% until the balance is paid off. But I already have money on this card that I don't want to get "stuck" on the card as it will be paid off after the new low rate on the transfer. So what I want to do is transfer the high rate off to another card, then immediately transfer a different balance back on to the alpha card, leaving me with only a low-rate balance on the card.

Has anybody here ever heard of a credit card not allowing somebody to do this as I would be maneuvering around what they are trying to achieve? (I am sure they want to get the high rate on my current balance stuck behind me paying off the low rate first.)

I have read all the fine print and can't find anything preventing me from doing this. I wouldn't be transferring the same money out and then back in - there would be three cards. I would transfer card alpha to a brand new card, beta (which also is offering a low rate). I would then transfer another old card, "gamma", to alpha. So I would be left with one good rate old card and one good rate new card. . .

Man I hope that made sense. . .

Well.. for the casual observer it may seem to be a close copy..

The biggest thing guys, is that I was handed vBulletin to install... not a problem... I installed it... hit up vBulletin.org for hacks and such, we then hit up the CPMS systems.. vBadvanced was the best out there for free..

It wasn't until after we installed it that we realized that BP had the same portal system.

But even before we had installed that, we had already decided that we would be coding our own special CPMS system for it... it needs a distinct professional look to it, that we just can't get with what is out there right now.

Anyways, as any techie in the world.. if it helps what I love, I will do it.. when I fix the reputation system, if Clarity is open to it, I would LOVE to donate that code to you guys.

Anyways, I will still be around here from time to time... but for now, I have way to much work to chit chat

wow... at this point, I'm sorta wondering why you guys didn't start a thread on me... I'm 5 foot something rather, weigh 150-60 depending on how wet I am... I was considering tOSU until I didn't get any love, and even after I mentioned how cool you guys are and stuff... My brother who is five years younger than me took me to my first OSU game the last time we played Michigan at home. We are both diehard Bucks and happen to have a father that is a fan of that school up North. Well this year my brother and I were going to do something special for my pops since he had such a rough year. He had his leg amputated and almost died due to infection. He fought back though and was healthy and had started walking using the artificial limb without any assistance. Well, we decided that this year we were going to get ticktes for the three of us to go so he could see his crappy team get walloped and hopefully we could convert him

Ya see..since my first game my brother and I went to three the next year and always told my pops how great and it was. He said he would go one day but only to see his Wolverines.

So here is my dilemma....my pops died suddenly with no illness and in his sleep in April. My brother moved out to California a month before this happened. Our dad meant everything to us. He raised us when our mother didn't want to and let us play any sport we wanted even thouh that meant he would have to give up almost everything he wanted to do so we could afford it. Well, my brother and I had to beg borrow and steal to gather the money to pay for my pops funeral expenses. We now no longer have all the money to buy our Michigan tickets like we wanted. My brother is still flying in for the game and I was hoping someone here could help us out. I would like to get two Michigan tickets butI can't pay alot for them. We want to go an honor the memory of our pops on that day in Columbus. If anyone could help I would be forever gratefull for helping us do this one last thing!! Please let me know what you can do...if anything.

During the season it seems to be all we talk about, and during the rest of the year sometimes we find other things to say every now and then. We've only been to a couple games together, but for our first, in 2002, we decided we'd go to Purdue. It was Jeremy's first Ohio State game. Oh boy was that amazing. Best roadtrip ever!

Anyway, Jeremy reads all the posts on Buckeye Planet almost daily. He's been a member for OVER A YEAR. Yet he's NEVER POSTED! He even sees posts I don't see and discusses them with me. I keep telling him to post. "Just post something Jeremy. It's great." He says he has nothing to say, but he has more to say about sports than me. Most of you all have nothing to say, but just post away anyway, like Tibor.

So i'm sure Jeremy will read this, and I want everybody to encourage him to post. Post on this thread. Send him PMs (his name is jc_ultimate). Whatever. Let's just get Jeremy to post!

my two cents and two thoughts:
1- met gw2 when his dad was president....by accident....and he sat down and talked with me for over a half hour....i was a poly sci/pre law grad and baseball player....i can say this about him....he is a genuinely good guy....funny, articulate, charasmatic, etc....absolutely the kind of guy you could watch a game a drink a beer with....

First, FNKabuckeye877 for whatever reason(s) left out the part about himself telling me to go fuck myself, to go suck dick, etcetera to in his PMs, which I have unfortunately erased (I was really hoping they were still there & maybe someone can help me get them restored ?). My comments didn't happen in a vacuum as he's trying to indicate; I don't spit unless spat on. I don't know every poster's personal story and was unaware of his mother's condition (& I would have never said such a thing if I knew). But is it right for FNKabuckeye877 to be telling me or anyone else to go suck dick, not knowing if I have family or friend with AIDs ? Isn't that equally wrong ? I think it is.

Second, Miliani had been recently warning me of a ban since he didn't agree with my giving negative reps to some of his friends on the board. Of course, he also a) doesn't sign his name when giving out negative reps (like board patrol here: keep it up and you are banned), nor does he care that others were giving me negative rep points for nothing (e.g., there were at least 3 negative rep pts launched in my direction on the Olivea photos threads...I guess they ran out of available shots in other threads ?). This is the wrong guy to have as a monitor.

Third, I think the level of debate upon this board is sorely lacking and can be improved. I will attempt to improve it upon my part, but I hope that others do the same. You say you want to be better than other OSU websites, then lets do it !

The difference between telling the media about your sex life, and openly admitting you are gay is huge. If you have close friends that are gay like I do then you know that they face discrimination all of the time in our country. It might not affect you or anyone else on this board to know that celebrities or athletes or gay, but to people that are afraid to come out because they will face discrimination from their family and friends it might.

First of all, if you haven't heard me say it before, I live in the hood.

Anyway, this guy comes walking down the street. I swore he was wearing Ohio State clothing. It wasn't a red and gray sweatshirt, it was Scarlet. So anyway, I kept staring at him to see if the writing on the front said "Ohio State" as he got closer.

Eventually he got close to me, and I couldn't see the writing because of the way he was turned. So I said, loudly, "O-H!"

He turned all pissed and asked what I was saying.

I was laughing because I saw his shirt said "Ecko" or "ekko" or whatver that brand is, and I felt kinda stupid.

Anyway he started asking if I thought I was funny and told me that if I did he "oughtta cap my ass fo' sho'"

Well the way he said "fo' sho'" sounded just like the guy on the Grand Theft Auto, which this OG was probably learning from, so I lauged again. I was then politely informed that I must stop laughing lest I be capped.

I told him I thought his shirt was an Ohio State shirt, and apologized. . . That was that.

But it was the first time I was threatened to be "capped." I thought it was funny, anyway. . .
