I see you saw yur walking but you really should think about starting some weight training, even if it's just some pushups and core traing. When I first got back into shape I did nothing but hike and diet for the for 6 months. I was in great cardiovascular shape but the first time I tried to do a pushup I about fell flat on my face. You'll not only feel better but you'll look so much better too. Bitches love muscles.3074326;2317935; said:I do still use olive oil.
I went through it with my elbows, it takes a while to clear up. Try taking asprin, it's about the only thing you can do along with rest.CentralMOBuck;2320751; said:ANyone ever have wrist tendonitis? I thought it was gone, but it came back with a vengance last night. Pushups (palm down), skull crushers, close grip bench all seem to cause it to flare up. Today it's worse than it has been in a while, my whole wrist area is very tender.

A few years back I was woking 16 - 17 hour days trying to save my business (sales are up over 1000% in ten years as the low cost provider bar none). I gained 100 pounds eating every meal for months on end in my office or out with the guys in the breakroom. Started this and it came right off with no problem or effort. Once the weight came off, the muscle was able to be seen as it was packed on which just reinforced the whole process.

I have had several weeks of no food on mondays. Only water and black coffee. You really won't get much out of the gym doing this so i quit lifting and bathing the body in calories so I could build muscle (and an assload of fat), it is more of a quick and easy lifestyle change that hoses you one day of the week to allow you to eat and drink as much as you want the other 6 days a week. This isn't to get you ripped or whatever, just to strip off a bunch of fat really quickly and get you ready once your appetite is shrunken to drop the program and hit the gym
Supposedly good for cancer prevention and prolonging life and improving brain performance and happiness per the linked video.
I felt it really shinks your appetite overall. Like your stomach shrinks or something. You don't overeat on the eating days suprisingly. Never felt the desire to load up before bed on Sunday to make it through or anything. Would wake up Tuesday and wouldn't be any hungrier than anyother day of the week. Too simple but it worked.
It really only takes the one day of discpline this way. Sounds like a good plan for many Americans. . . . .
You can do it anyday (or 2 per this video; this video allows you 500 calories on your 2 fasting days during the week). I liked Mondays because it was often after an enjoyable weekend and I would find I really didn't even miss the food.6
i know a bunch of strippers who do this to regulate their weight. Though I think they still get a little protein on their fast day from dudes.
223.6 this morning as i have kept it off, I can't overeat anymore, almost like my stomach put the restrictive band around it nturaly without the surgery. 240 - 245 bascally the entire time at OSU. your mileage may vary. you won't find an easier plan for sure though. no need to lift or diet other than no food on Mondays.
probably not a long term way of life, but better than being fat.

exhawg;2321126; said:So I've been doing this for the past month or so and it does seem to work. My biggest problem is that I know how much I usually eat so when I'm not on a fasting day I eat what I'm used to and end up being uncomfortably full.
This diet does seem to have the effect of shrinking your stomach because what I could eat a month ago and be full makes me over-full now, but my problem is I still eat it all. I need to force myself to cut back on the non-fasting days so that I am at most just full on non-fasting days.
The fasting day does suck, but I stick mostly to green veggies and lean protein to trick my stomach into not knowing that I'm not really giving it anything. Last year I lost 40 lbs in each of 2 diet contests at work and I have to say this is easier than trying to be good all the time for 12 weeks.
Even though I feel like I'm still eating too much on the non-fasting days I'm going down a lb or two a week. I'm going on vacation in 2 and a half months so I need to force myself to cut back on the non fasting days and see how much I can drop. 30-40 lbs would be great. The only trap days I have left between now and then are Easter, Cinco de Mayo, and Memorial Day weekend so if I can be good the rest of the time I should be able to lose a good chunk of weight.
last summer when I was wanting to take off a few pounds I went on the chicken breast, smoked salmon, hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese diet with lots of greens and the weight just fell off and I was never hungryTaosman;2321164; said:I find the South Beach Diet works very well for us guys. The women...not as well. Basically a low carb diet will take the weight off quickly with minimal fuss and suffering. :tongue2:
