There are ways to make a vote count without doing extensive research on the candidates.

My ballot yesterday had dozens of judges up for retention. I got names from a couple different lists of legal watchdog groups that recommended which ones should be canned, and voted against those. I admit that I don't know the details of why those judges were not recommended, and I'm not sure if either of those 'watchdog' organizations has an agenda I would disapprove of, but I felt better than if I had just said 'yes' or 'no' to everybody, or decided things based on the judges' names. And that took minimal time and effort.

I see voting as a civic duty and I prefer to vote and have some reason for my votes; rather than not voting and saying that 1 vote won't matter, or that I'd be better off as a non-voter since I'm not as informed as I should be.

But I know everyone doesn't have to think the same way - this is America, after all. So if the non-voters want to do nothing while this country is taken over by fascists who'll impose martial law, that's their choice.

Did anyone vote today?

I voted in Gahanna OH. What a waste. There was only one thing to vote for: Gahanna Mayor. There were three names. The incumbent and two others that I never heard of. I barely heard of the incumbent (Becky Stinchcomb).

You can check out what there was to vote for in your area (if you live in Ohio) at this site:
