This year's 24/7 wasn't that interesting, but Babcock saying "we haven't won a Cup since '08" with complete seriousness and sincerity was hilarious to me. I imagine Leaf fans watching that and having their entire lives flash before their eyes.

A lot of the same entitlement we see with scUM fans runs through the Red Wings fanbase as well. There are people who literally think, despite the last 4 off-seasons showing otherwise, that the franchise can get away with not paying top dollar for the best FAs. They seriously thought guys like Pairise and Weber were going to take discounts to play in Detroit and were shocked when they didn't. :smash:

With Z out indefinitely and Datsyuk hurting for the next couple weeks, trading for Legwand makes sense...especially if he's not a long term answer. the Wings desperately need healthy centers and they had Joakim Andersson as their 1st line center :smash:
