Thanks for the insight Bubba!!BubbaEarl;2279652; said:I live in Gainesville and went to Gainesville High School (class of 1986). The Red Elephants have had a lot of studs come through, but Deshaun is the best to ever play at Gainesville High School. He is a pure pocket passer first. He does NOT gain most of his significant rushing yards when the pocket break downs resulting in an unplanned scramble. All most all of his rush yards result from designed planned runs like draws and zone reads. He is at his best throwing from the pocket. Gainesville High does run a lot of designed roll out passes, but Deshaun is still throwing from the pocket because the design of the roll out also moves the pocket with him. He likes to throw down field and has strong arm. He throws a beautiful ball and is very accurate. He is a very effective runner, but he is a passer by nature. He will not be the best running QB Urban has ever had, but he will be the best passer. Urban wants him so bad because he is the perfect QB for Urban's offensive system. I know this because I am a Georgia Bulldog fan and I am very familiar with Urban Meyer. He kicked our butt routinely. Outstanding Coach. Ohio State has a real chance. Most of the folks down here think he should go their and we tell him. Urban Meyer will make him a star. The only issue is that he has said he does not want to be to far away from home and Clemson is close to Gainesville (2 hour drive). Ohio St, Urban Meyer and Deshaun Watson might be just to much of a perfect fit for him to pass up in the end though. He is a smart kid I believe he sees the perfect match and he will make the right choice.

Watson remains strong with Tigers
By Eric Guimaraes
Class of 2014 QB Deshaun Watson of Gainesville, GA remains strongly committed to Clemson. The dual-threat quarterback has offers from Clemson, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Georgia Tech, Central Florida, Vanderbilt and NC State. Watson is planning to visit each of these schools as well as Oregon, Southern Cal and Tennessee. "I'm going to go to Clemson," he said. "I just want to see what's out there." Watson discussed his relationship with Chad Morris and says it is one of the main reasons he has committed to Clemson. "He talked to me each time he talked to another school," said Watson. "He just told me he was looking to see what was out there but that he loves Clemson, his family loves Clemson and he wants to coach me at Clemson." Watson acknowledged that if Morris were to leave for a head coaching position he would give the new Tigers offensive coordinator an opportunity. "I would have to open back up my recruitment but I would definitely listen to him," he admitted.
