DeShaun Watson (QB Cleveland Browns)

Buzbee has basically put a sign out "if you gave Watson a massage.. I will get you money"
When he included the Texans he screwed the pooch...
The Texans and the NFL are now also at stake...
and there is precedent
The NFL let Patriots owner off the hook and he was knee deep in criminal activity with multiple/documented/photos of human sex trafficking...
How is the NFL going to punish both the Texans and Watson comparatively...

Kid thought he had the magic formula for handjobs...
Dumb move but so far.. still not criminal...
Just a matter of dollars... that's all Buzbee has ever been after,,, look at his history...
He's not after moral justice...

How Much Will the Deshaun Watson Civil Lawsuits Settle For?

In the wake of the Watson trade and his new blockbuster contract, many people are wondering if he will opt to settle the civil lawsuits and how much that settlement might be. In this post, we will offer an analysis of the potential settlement value of the Deshaun Watson sexual assault lawsuits.
.
.
.
This is speculation. But our lawyers think a reasonable estimate for how much Deshaun Watson may have to pay out to settle the civil lawsuits is around $1.5 million to $2.5 million per plaintiff. That would put the total price tag somewhere between $55 million and $35 million for all 22 plaintiffs.

This is the current “going rate” for settlement of sexual abuse or assault lawsuits involving comparable allegations to those in the Watson civil lawsuits. For example, actor James Franco recently had to pay $2.2 million to settle sexual misconduct lawsuits by students at his acting school. UCLA, Ohio State, and the University of Michigan also recently settled lawsuits alleging unwanted sexual touching by former team doctors with an average payout of around $1-2 million per plaintiff.

Maybe this is why there hasn't been an "out of court" settlement. Watson isn't going to agree to anything close to $35M - $55M.

Remember Texans are now equal party .. so maybe the Texans ante up the vast majority and Watson only has to pay a fraction...
That would also help the NFL out when they have to dish out a punishment to Watson... AND the Texans
Gives everyone an escape ramp

In case anybody was wondering where the NFL stood on which was worse, raping 20 some women or lying about the players you coached in college getting "impermissible" benefits........they're equal. Those are equally bad things.

Tell me you're a Browns fan without telling me you're a Browns fan.

True, but it doesn't change the fact that there is no evidence of Watson raping anyone. Gross as it may be asking a girl massaging you to stick her finger in your ass and for a hand job isn't assault. Forcing her to do it after she says no is and it doesn't sound like that happened. Roethlisberger legit raped a girl in a club bathroom and got a 6 game suspension. Kraft paid for hand jobs after massages wasn't punished. I'd argue Watson's actions are more in line with Craft than Big Ben so 6 games is harsh.

In fact, it should be every other QB that is suspended 6 games and the Browns should start with a 21 point head start each game.
