Deion Sanders (HC Colorado)

Right......but what if he wants to bail because he's about to enter hard mode without his kid and Travis Hunter, so he just demands 80 quantibbion dollars knowing they'll never pony up? Built in excuse for leaving.

His kid and Travis Hunter really did carry the team a lot.

They also lose the other top 3 WRs after Hunter. Wester was a big weapon as well.

You get either a true freshmen or the Liberty dude who dropped off big time in 2024 replacing QB Sanders

Not gonna be good.

It always bothered me how they had Hunter playing both ways. There’s no way that’s good for kids in todays world and they really jeopardized his health for 3 years trying to keep their record up.

And on top of that, expect enrollment numbers to decline as well...

No matter what people think of him. He transformed that university in the small time he was there. They will feel the affect of him leaving greatly! And they also didn't have plans in place

Football tickets? Yes. Colorado will be just fine as a university. It's a top 20 public with a beautiful campus in a stunning location. They'll have zero problems attracting high quality applicants.

speaking of Hunter.... did anyone ever do a stats & snaps comparison with him and Gamble.... I think people forget how much Gamble played

Well it sure seems like their numbers weren’t that high before Sanders arrived. His arrival caused a massive uptick in applications and it’d be crazy to think him leaving wouldn’t cause a dip

Gamble was a defensive player who moonlighted on offense. Hunter was a two way player. Gambles stats on offense don’t come close to Hunters. Hunter would be a #1 WR on every school in CFB outside of OSU, and he’d be a strong #2 here

Shilo Sanders not invited to Combine, but hires official Combine timers to verify his 40

Shilo Sanders’ father Deion is a Hall of Famer and coached Shilo at Colorado. And Shilo’s brother Shedeur is expected to be a top pick in this year’s draft. But Shilo himself, who played cornerback at Colorado, is not viewed as an elite prospect and was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.

So Shilo will have to prove his athletic talents via other workouts, and toward that he has hired Zybek Sports, the company that provides the official timing to the NFL at each year’s Combine, to document Sanders’ workouts and verify his 40-yard dash times.

“I didn’t get invited to the Combine, but I brought the Combine to me,” Sanders said in a video about the process on his YouTube channel.

The first video Sanders released did not reveal his 40 time, but Sanders said he’ll be working with Zybek Sports regularly and that NFL teams will get the information from his workouts.

“We’re going to be using this to track training and track progress,” Sanders said.

If Sanders is going to make it to the NFL, he’s probably going to have to do so as an undrafted free agent. But he’s doing everything he can to drum up attention in the two months before the draft.

Can’t fault the guy getting that contract with how many more eyes are on the school and increases in college applications. Not sure how much is due to him, but his agent earned their cut.

The funny part to me is how ESPN says he has 13 wins…over the two seasons he has been there.

Given where they were when he signed on, 13 wins over two seasons is pretty damn good. While they have a ways to go to get to Penn State, much less elite, they're no longer irrelevant, and that's something.
